IYT programmes are designed specifically for teachers across Aotearoa/New Zealand. The programmes are led by skilled, accredited group leaders in Ngā Hau e Whā who are passionate about the IYT philosophy.

A collaborative project with Schools and Ngā Hau e Whā. The purpose of the Project is to explain the Science of Learning and the Science of Reading approaches following neuroscience research into how we acquire literacy skills and the practical application of this knowledge.
NME is a developmentally sensitive, neurobiology-informed approach to clinical problem-solving. Developed by Dr. Bruce D. Perry, MD, PhD, it integrates core principles of neurodevelopment and traumatology to inform work with mokopuna, whānau, and the communities in which they live.

Supporting RTLB and educators working with Pacific students and families by providing resources and knowledge.
At times, students who are learning in more than one language may need extra support. A bilingual assessment helps us understand a student’s learning, language, and well-being needs by looking at their skills in both their first language and English.
If you think a bilingual assessment may help your child/ student, please contact your school’s classroom teacher or your school's liaison RTLB.
A range of practical activities has been curated into a "kete" for teachers and schools to use to enhance and strengthen Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy (CSP). This kete was developed as a result of a 2025 Primary Teacher's Sabbatical, undertaken by Keryn King - RTLB Practice leader in Cluster 28, Ngā Hau e Whā, in Aotearoa NZ.
